This is my favorite brother and my only brother.
I so vividly remember when you would pin me down and practically spit in my face, or the many times you thought it was so funny that you could steal the remote or the other many times that you teased me until I would cry and when I went to call mom, you were there on the phone asking me what I was doing. Or the times that you would clap really really loud in my ear and i'm sure that I have permanent bruises on my thighs from you grabbing them so hard. I've never been given a better nick name than "squeeze rat"...
But I love you for all these pleasant cruelties, i wouldn't be who i am today!
I also love you for who you are.. for being not only the best bother to three sisters but an amazing father and a loving husband..( i guess you would have to ask Andrea) I look up to you for following your dreams, for doing what you love and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is jealous of how good you are.. Thanks for all you do, love ya a million times. Happy Birthday!

Aahhh. I don't recall all the things you are referring to as "pleasant cruelties", I just remember holding your hand and teaching you to play sports and putting you on my shoulders, oh, and making you lunch and stuff. But thanks for the birthday tribute. Love you too, squeeze rat.
